i'm working on a hackathon project right now, and it's in healthcare. before i build anything, i want to talk to someone who actually works in the field. i'd rather hear from a real person than guess at what people need.
here are the roles i'm considering:
- primary care physicians
- mental health counselors
- psychiatrists
- genetic counselors
- nurse practitioners
- dietitians and nutritionists
while researching healthcare workflows, i found that one common challenge is that clinicians (or any role, honestly) often have to go through multiple past notes to piece together a patient's story. my idea is to use ai to keep track of important updates from each visit and automatically highlight what changed, what was completed, and what still needs attention.
